Each year thousands of students across Massachusetts experience the professional practices of working scientists and engineers through the development of independent research projects. MSEF supports the students and their teachers with a portfolio of tools (webinars, handbooks, volunteers, etc.) that facilitate and enhance their research. Through the process students hone their critical thinking skills, learn through both successes and failure, and help solve local and global challenges. The Fair is the showcase, celebrating both the journey and the project completion.
The 2022 Virtual Student Symposium is an opportunity for students to showcase their work and connect with each other, as well as professionals across STEM fields—including MSEF alumni. State Fair participants are invited to display their project slides and participate in live chat with attendees.
All students who participated in a Science Fair project this year regardless of State Fair participation are invited to attend to attend the events.
Participation for all attendees is free.
We are excited to feature MSEF alumni, professional scientists, engineers and STEM workers across several presentations and Q&A sessions.
The final agenda will be posted by the end of April.
9:30-3pm Student Showcase, Exhibit Hall, Lobby and Lounge will open. Live Chat function will be engaged to communicate with each other.
